I rose early to get out and grab a few sunrise photos around the Beddgelert area. After snapping a few snowy pictures around Nant Gwynant of what would have been Snowdon if it were not for the mist, I dropped back down to Beddgelert.
With limited time, I walked up one side of Afon Glaslyn, snapping away in the gentle drizzle before crossing over and returning to the car along the opposite bank.
I had to get back to the cottage we had rented to pack up and make our way back to Birmingham so this little two miler would have to do for now.
In the evening, an eight and a bit mile walk to The Griffin brought the day’s total to 10.6 miles.
