After yesterday’s marathon walk (literally) there was a little stiffness in the legs as I set off for a 3 mile run around Shustoke.
I was here last week and did a lap one way, turned around and ran back.
Today, I was a little more imaginative and ran past the main lake, the fishing pool and alongside the railway. Returning to the reservoir, I ran around the main body of water until the watch bleeped for 3 miles and I stopped.
3 miles @ 10:26 pace (I was aiming on 10:30).
A brisk walk back to the car park constituted a cool down.
Nothing exciting but that’s today’s run done. Back to work tomorrow so it’s likely to be a jog along the canal after work.
