My training plan calls for a steady 3 miler today.
The venue I chose was Shustoke Reservoir, a few miles drive away.
I parked up the car and after a few light stretches started off in a clockwise direction.
When my GPS watch registered 1.5 miles, I turned around and ran back the way I’d come. Strangely, it wasn’t as far going back !
Nice steady, even pace (9:51) and the deed is done.
I’ll be doing another 3 tomorrow, probably straight after my night shift so it may well be along the Birmingham canal network.
