Pub Run

I had 6 miles to run today and being a Sunday (Griffin Inn day) I chose to run to the pub, meeting up with my other half for a lift home.

I walked about half a mile as a warmup then started running from Water Orton. I tried to keep a steady 11 minute mile pace which I managed with an average pace of 10:59.

At 6 miles, I stopped the watch and walked the final half mile to the boozer as a cool down.

The run went well and I wasn’t knackered at the end. More importantly, even though running in the dark with a head torch, I managed to stay upright (always good).
