I’ve been a little preoccupied lately, changing jobs. I’ve just about got that all sorted, with a start date of 16th May.
At my interview, I mentioned that I’d be needing some time off to go for a walk. They were slightly surprised when I told them that it was 100 miles – and all to be done in one go! Luckily, I’ve got the week off.

The logistics go something like this…
Friday 27th 12:30 – I catch a train from New Street to Weymouth, changing at Basingstoke. I should reach Weymouth around 5pm.
Just around the corner from the train station is Apartment 5 which will be HQ for the week. The rest of the day I shall spend taking it very easy.
Saturday 28th Morning – Catch the number 2 bus from outside the apartment to the Hundred HQ.
Saturday 28th 12:00 – Walk 100 miles
Sunday 29th Sometime – S T O P W A L K I N G
Sometime, Saturday afternoon, my other half, daughter and grandson will arrive in Weymouth, having driven down from Brum. Hopefully, during the next day or so, they will drive out to offer me support at the various checkpoints and be there to cheer me over the finish line. Then, once I’ve recovered, we’ll have a week’s holiday by the seaside.
