After a few knee niggles of late, I’ve decided that it’s new shoe time.
I must have done well over the recommended 500 miles so there can’t be much cushioning left and that’s what I’m blaming the recent knee pain on – any excuse for new shoes !
The last pair that I bought were Nike Darts and they’ve served me well so I’ve splashed out on a pair of the same. These I’ll use for day to day walking along hard surfaces with my trail shoes or walking shoes for more demanding terrain.
UPDATE – After 40+ miles the knee pain seems to be abating – we’ll have to wait and see.
