Well it’s Saturday night and what shall we do?
Unfortunately for Sue, she had to go to work – not in Moseley but a bit further afield. I took the opportunity to walk from somewhere new and drove the other half to West Heath, near Rednal, south of Birmingham – luckily this was where she was working!
I left Sue around 8pm and started my trek which should see me arrive home around half eleven.
After a mile and a half, I was in Kings Norton from where I followed the Birmingham & Worcester canal for a short distance before leaving it to traverse the Lifford reservoir en route to Kings Heath.
After passing through Wake Green, I was on more familiar terrain following the River Cole back home.
I arrived home a little after 11 having covered 15 miles.
