|Up at the crack of Yawn|
Another busy night at work but a bit of a wind down afterwards.
Parked up in C-de-B and had a gentle jog through the fields to Damson Parkway before joining the canal for a further few hundred metres to reach Damson Lane.
This was today’s turnaround point and I was soon back at Damson Parkway but this time I stayed on the Grand Union following it all the way back to Catherine-de-Barnes.
A short overshoot took my milage up to two and a half miles and I stopped – 2.5M in 27′. A walk a little further along the cut and back constituted my cool down before returning to the car and home.
Not a lot of miles but the legs got the feel for this running lark and it was very pleasant running to the dawn ( or should that be yawn? ) chorus.
Last night tonight. I may get a lift to Moseley in the morning and have a gentle stroll back. Either that or walk to Moseley in the afternoon to meet the other half from work – watch this space.
